Annual Conference and Trade Show

AMTOPP’s annual Conference with a Trade show is held in January each year.
This event offers educational opportunities for continuing education units (CEU’s) in various categories from the Montana Department of Agriculture; the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA); Montana Urban IPM and recently added Irrigation Association (IA).
There are many networking opportunities, testing for ISA Certification, First Aid Classes, and new for 2020 the Certified Irrigation Technician Exam.
A trade show offers attendees a chance to view and gather information on the latest products and equipment as well as troubleshooting.
The conference venue, Fairmont Hot Springs Resort provides a relaxing and family-friendly environment, with fun winter activities close by.
You can register online or print off the registration form and submit it by email or regular mail.
Just a few things that we have coming: On Wednesday, Jan 22 – there are two all-day classes – before our official kick-off for the conference on Thursday:
Electrical Hazards Awareness Program class on Wed. Jan 22 – Dr. Ball will be teaching that (8-5)
Landscape Irrigation Technician Class also on Wednesday, with Nick Millward from the Irrigation Association as the instructor.
Sports Field and Park Turf Maintenance is a 4-hour class broken out into 2 – two-hour slots for Thurs and Fri (Jan 23–24). PRZ Consulting, Larry Musser will be teaching that; more information to come for this class.
There will be a Chipper Certification class and a Crane Class Introduction with Demonstrations.
Montana Dept of Ag will offer sessions on Emergency Spill Response; Changes to look for due to recently passes legislation; Voles; and Deer Control, just to name a few.
